Beyond the Dress Code with Reina Acab

Join us for a conversation with apparel designer, creative consultant, and founder of même kidswear, Reina Acab, exploring style as a tool for self-expression, identity, and possibility.

We’ll talk about the evolution of personal style, designing beyond expectations, and the ways clothing can reinforce—or challenge—the scripts we inherit. Reina will also share her approach to creative risk-taking: trusting your inner compass, building from your own point of view, and having the courage to create something that doesn’t already exist.

Part of Salon: Summer of Style, an Open Form conversation series exploring personal style, creativity, and the many ways we choose to express who we are.

L*FT is an ongoing evening series centered around the analog experience, featuring all-vinyl sets, wine, and shared listening.

To celebrate the birthdays of DJs 100proof and Nostalgia B, this edition draws from decades of friendship and record collecting. Longtime collaborators, they'll be opening up their crates that have shaped their musical language and listening philosophy. 

Expect vinyl selections spanning R&B, hip-hop, indie, neo soul, slow jams, head nodders, forgotten favorites, deep album cuts, and the records they return to again and again.
