Join Salon for a conversation with Tara Almassi, founder of Open Form, a café and event space rooted in hospitality, community, and cultural storytelling. 

Tara has spent years designing spaces and experiences in New York, with a portfolio that includes work with Telfar TV and other fashion and lifestyle brands. Now back in her native Seattle, she’s spent the past year pouring into Open Form, a place that’s highly considered yet open to interpretation.

In this conversation, we’ll talk about how Tara approaches the design of a space, from the visual details and atmosphere to the larger ideas of culture, identity, and community that shape it. We’ll explore how personal style translates into the spaces we create, what makes a space feel intentional rather than simply beautiful, and how the places we design can influence the way we live.
